System Administrator

Responsibilities

Provide support for various desktop, server and network related issues. These issues require a broad range of troubleshooting skills related to (but not limited to): Microsoft desktop operating systems, Microsoft Server operating systems and applications (Exchange 2003 and 2007, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)

Manage and troubleshoot networking issues for the clients we support.

Be able to provide excellent client management inclusive of excellent communications, responsive follow through, and advocacy for client issues.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree /Associates Degree preferred or equivalent work experience/certification. At least 1, and preferably 3 or more years experience in a client facing help desk or technical support environment or equivalent consulting experience.

Individual must have advanced working experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and must be Microsoft Certified.

  • Demonstrate ability to research and resolve problems using a variety of resources and tools.
  • Must possess the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments.
  • Able to create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrate willingness to take ownership of assignments and manage them to a conclusion.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and be able to work flexible hours when needed.
