Support Help Desk by answering phones and tracking incoming phone calls for support from customer base. Document service request, system incidents and problems escalate higher level support for more technical issues. Will be expected to document conversation accurately while providing courteous service to the customer base. Will be responsible for following documented procedures to assist in closing known issues. Will be required to follow established procedures for documenting all calls and for properly escalating all issues and requests.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering the incoming support calls
  • Providing support remotely to clients or escalate issues
  • Dispatch Engineers for client support

Qualifications

Help desk jobs require problem-solving skills and patience to repeatedly instruct people on the steps to take to solve computer problems. In addition, interpersonal skills are required. Computer support specialists must have the ability to listen and ask questions to diagnose and solve computer issues. This job also requires strong written skills since specialists will have to write manuals and e-mails. Another requirement is the ability to work both independently and with a team.

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience a plus
